Reputable EV charger manufacturers design their products to withstand various weather conditions, including rain. To put this to the test, my colleague and I conducted an experiment.

Regarding the advice to unplug the charging connector, it’s sound guidance. However, most EVs, including the Dolphin, prevent you from engaging drive mode while the charging cable is connected. So, the risk of driving away with the cable still attached is minimal.
